Wastin' Away

Tuesday night served as a double celebration! It was Ashley's 32nd Birthday!!, and we went to the Jimmy Buffett concert (my 4th in a row!) at the Lakewood Ampitheather in the ATL! Here's me and the birthday girl....the only decent shot probably before we started bundling up! The weather dropped to the mid 50's by concert time, very un-BUFFETT like!For Buffett, the day starts early (think Auburn football) with a full day of tailgating in the parking lot! Far as you can see there are tents, chairs, coolers, food, music....as well as coconut bras, grass skirts, pink flamingos, tiki hut golf carts, and we even spotted a few men on stilts....

Hanging out at the tailgate, we did a LOT of people watching! So happy when our friend Jenn Brannin showed up with her bun-in-the-oven. This is officially Baby William's first Buffett concert (in utero). Last year Ashley was 8 months pregnant with Hobbs! Must be in the Margaritas here!

Once inside the ampitheater, we threw down our blankies on the very front of the lawn, and the boys wasted NO time getting down! Well, Capp at least. I think Brad isn't really claiming him as his buddy at this moment....

Brandi and I, well all of us really, pretty much snuggled, or danced, all night to stay warm! Jimmy, I thought you were bring the heat with you!?!?!

Jimmy was awesome, as always, and even surprised us with a guest appearance by the Zac Brown Band! They played for over an hour together, each other's songs (remember the CMT special in Feb?) and it was amazing! No one had any idea he would be there, so two concerts in one was such a treat! Jimmy, we'll be back next year, because yes, we are groupies for sure. And everyone is invited!!

And if anyone is still unclear.....I LIKE MINE WITH LETTUCE AND TOMATOES, HEINZ 57 AND FRENCH FRY POTATOES, A BIG KOSHER PICKLE AND A COLD DRAFT BEER, WELL GOOD GOD A'MIGHTY WHICH WAY DO I STEER?!?!!!
